This series began as a search for connection — not between two people, but between the self and something larger it senses but can't quite name. Each painting reaches for the missing piece: a thread back to something that feels forgotten rather than absent. Bodies overlap, merge, dissolve into shared color — the separateness we usually take for granted is exactly what's being questioned here.

Underneath that is a harder search: for the freedom that only comes from being fully, unguardedly oneself. The figures are caught mid-exposure, not mid-pose — arching, falling, reaching — because that's what it looks like to seek connection to your own unfinished self rather than perform a finished one.
